66 High Street: Downtown Guilford History Remains Where Luxury Begins

Developers will turn this historical building into 57 luxury residential units, while preserving its historical attributes.

Downtown Guilford has been a kind host to a building rich with history, and that history will continue to expand in the coming years as the structure embraces big changes, which Sarah Kyrcz of the New Haven Register describes.

The 130-year-old retired factory, 66 High St., will be converted into 57 separate luxury residential units that will be sold for around $2 million because the developers are aware of the value in the building’s history and plan on taking full advantage of it, the Register reported.

Marshlands adjoining the property will offer exquisite views for some of the units, and most of the units will host a loft design scheme, allowing for the architects to best embrace the buildings history and factory-like attributes, the Register reported.
