An Evening of Yoga to Benefit Guilford Food Bank

Guilford Parks and Recreation is holding a Yoga Night this Thursday to benefit the Guilford Food Bank. The event was attended by over 100 people last year!

 

The holiday's can be stressful!! If you're looking for a night to unwind, and donate to a good cause, the Guilford Parks and Recreation Yoga Night is the place to be. The event will take place Thursday, December 27th from 5:30-7:00 PM.

"This is a wonderful event that a yoga instructor began last year," Ellen Crow shared with Guilford Patch. "Last year, there were over 100 people that participated."

The fabulous list of instructors will include Christine Gaynor, Nancy Ashcroft, Sue Brinigar, Angela Creamer, and Lynda Corcoran. There will also be live music, provided by Paul Dela Reza.

The fee for the event is $10 plus a donation of a non-perishable food item. All proceeds will benefit the Guilford Food Bank. In the wake of the Newtown shootings, they will also be collecting monetary donations for those affected by the tragedy.
