Bishop's Orchards In Guilford To Offer Expanded Family Fun This Summer
Bishop's Orchards will soon debut a new summer attraction titled "Construction Tyme."

GUILFORD, CT — Bishop’s Orchards in Guilford will debut a new summer attraction, "Construction Tyme," offering children a hands-on opportunity to play and build with kid-sized construction toys. The interactive event will run daily from July 12 to Aug. 10 at the farm’s main orchard, 480 New England Road.
Geared toward families with young children, Construction Tyme allows kids to scoop, move, and build in a safe play environment designed to encourage creativity and physical activity.
"Construction Tyme is all about creativity, motion, and hands-on fun," said Co-CEO Sarah Bishop DellaVentura in a prepared statement. "We’re excited to offer families a unique opportunity to engage in playful learning amidst the beauty of our orchard."

Admission is $25.99 per person, with free entry for children under 24 months. Tickets and season passes are available online, and discounts may be found on the Bishop’s Orchards website prior to opening day.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is part of a broader set of seasonal offerings at Bishop’s Orchards. Guests with Construction Tyme admission will also have access to the farm’s activity area, which includes attractions such as a 150-foot mega slide, bounce pads, tire mountain, pedal cart track, spider web, confusion maze, and bubble barn.
"Our goal is to blend tradition with innovation, providing families with memorable experiences that celebrate the joys of farm life," said Co-CEO Carrie Bishop in a prepared statement.
In addition to the summer activities, Bishop’s Orchards continues to offer its Pick-Your-Own program for fruits and flowers. Visitors can check crop availability by calling 203-458-PICK. The farm also features the Cider Hut, a stop on the Connecticut Wine Trail, where guests can enjoy tastings and tours.
