Date Announced For Guilford Police Department's 'National Night Out' Event

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Department will host a National Night Out event on the Guilford Green on Friday, Oct. 3, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Official details haven't been announced yet, but the annual event has traditionally featured music, games, prizes, food and a chance to meet local police officers, town departments, organizations and businesses.

According to the National Night Out website, these events promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
