Guilford Art Center's 2013 Craft Expo Begins Thursday

The four-day event will feature more than 175 artists.

Thursday, July 18, is the first day of the Guilford Art Center’s 56th-annual Craft Expo on the Guilford Green.

The event runs from Thursday to Sunday and will feature more than 175 artists, according to the Guilford Art Center’s website. The craft show is one of the largest in New England, according to the website.

"Every year, we are thrilled to bring this show to the Green, to present the latest in handmade American craft to our shoreline community," Guilford Art Center Executive Director Maureen Belden said in a press release. "It is a crucial fundraiser for the Art Center's school and community programs, and a beloved event strongly identified with Guilford. Visitors also help support American artists and their work -small businesses that thrive on the relationship between artist and buyer."
