Guilford Discusses Regulating Cell Phone Use During School Hours
Board of Education is reviewing whether to tighten regulations on use of cell phones during the school day.

GUILFORD, CT - As has been done in neighboring Madison, the Guilford school system is considering whether to limit the use of cell phones by students during school hours.
At a recent Board of Education meeting, the board heard a report from five representatives of the Shoreline Technology group. The group had a conversation with school officials about cell phone use, particularly in the 5th-8th group.
The group said Madison has recently adopted policies restricting phone use in school.
