Guilford First Congregational Church Harvest Fair Still On Today

The Harvest Fair is continuing as scheduled, so stop on by for some fall fun!

It's been a trying week here in Guilford after Hurricane Sandy, but this weekend, whether you have power or not, enjoy the fall weather and stop by the 46th Annual Harvest Fair at the First Congregational Church. The Fair will be held as planned from 9 AM to 2:30 PM.

"It’s our largest fundraiser, and all proceeds go toward keeping our historic buildings in good repair," said Mary Norris. "This is a real old-fashioned fair, no outside vendors. with more than 50% of the items hand made by church members."

"We also have a VERY popular 'Attic Treasures' area of collectibles and antiques, including vintage clothing, glassware, silver and china," Norris continued. "There’s an entire section of refurbished and restored jewelry, a room full of antique and used tools, another of gently used toys, as well as dried flower arrangements, knitting, and handcrafts of all kinds"
