Guilford Free Library To Close Temporarily
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the town said in an announcement.
GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Free Library will be temporarily closed to complete a carpet replacement project, according to the tow.
The library will be closed from Wednesday, Aug. 27, to Tuesday, Sept. 2. A concert scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28 will still be held in the library's courtyard, weather permitting.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our 17 year old carpet is in bad need of replacement," the town said. "Work has been scheduled throughout Labor Day weekend to minimize the closure."
