A producer from the television show contacted her and said:
"We read about the letter you wrote to the White House, ahead of Valentine’s Day – your story is an important one, and was wondering if there is any chance you may be available to join us for a potential segment on our show, Fox & Friends, tomorrow (Monday) morning, to share your thoughts and insights with us.

"We have been covering the drug crisis extensively – we’ve even devoted a specific series, “Addiction in America” focused on the problem and potential ways to solve it, and Nick’s story is certainly one we would be interested in addressing.
"Fox & Friends is the highest-rated AM cable newscast, roughly two million viewers, and it would be a very interesting, and important segment for us."
