Guilford Police Arrest Three For Burglarizing Cell Phone Stores

Guilford police arrested 3 men on March 24th for breaking into 3 cell phone stores in the area of the Boston Post Road.

GUILFORD, CT - Guilford Police Saturday arrested three subjects who are charged with committing two commercial burglaries at cell phone stores in the area of the Boston Post Road.

Officers responded to the initial report of a commercial burglar alarm at 934 Boston Post Road - AT&T Wireless Now. Three subjects were captured as they were attempting to leave the area in a stolen motor vehicle, police said.

They were identified as Victor Molina, 33, James Brewton, 48, and Victoria Deon, 36, all from New York, police said.

Officers also discovered a second commercial burglary had occurred at 864 Boston Post Road, Verizon Wireless Zone.

Entry was made into both stores by breaking windows. Cell phones and other merchandise were found to be missing, police said.

Information had been received prior to the incidents that there were recent similar incidents and burglaries at cell phone stores in Orange and Greenwich, police said.

All three were charged with burglary in the 1st degree (2 counts); conspiracy to commit burglary in the 1st degree (2 counts); larceny in the 1st degree (2 counts); conspiracy to commit larceny in the first degree' criminal mischief in the first degree (2 counts); conspiracy to commit criminal mischief (2 counts); larceny in the 4th degree and possession of burglar tools.

Molina was charged additionally with interfering with an officer. Deon was charged with failure to obey a traffic signal.

Bonds for all three subjects was set at $100,000.
