Guilford Police Complete Lip Sync Challenge, Send Out Thanks

GUILFORD, CT - The Guilford Police Department has finished taping its Lip Sync Challenge video. The police were challenged, along with the Branford department, by the town of North Branford’s police.

Here is what the Guilford police had to say on Facebook about the taping:

“Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough...

“From blizzards to hurricanes... you bring us crockpots full of delicious soup and trays of food...
From tragedies and attacks against our Blue Family..... you send us letters of support and love....
And now the support for our lip sync challenge??? You have gone above and beyond!!! Thank you for dancing and singing your hearts out for us over the last few days! (And even getting dressed up in costumes.

“We had a lot of fun filming the challenge with the GHS Technology Teacher, Nick Ripa, and his awesome students, who braved crazy weather and boat rides.

“Thanks to the Fire Department who jumped in with both feet to help us with the video... we love our Red Family.

“Can’t wait to show the world our amazing Guilford Community.

“(And of course... our amazing moves).

“We have a slew of people to thank for helping us put this video together but we don’t want to give our surprises away yet.... so we will be thanking them soon.

“And now..... we wait.”
