Guilford Police Search For Suspect Who Stole Package From Residence
The incident, which was captured on surveillance video, occurred on Saturday morning, according to Guilford Police.
GUILFORD, CT — Guilford police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspected "porch pirate," who stole a package from a home on Willow Road on Saturday. Click here to view surveillance video of the incident.
The incident occurred at about 11:21 a.m., when a FedEx delivery truck dropped off the package. Within a minute, the package was stolen, and police said in a post on Facebook that the delivery truck has been followed by red vehicle.
"If you have camera footage in the area around that time, please send it to us so we can track this criminal and his criminals friends down to bring them to justice," Guilford police wrote, adding that residents should "set up safe delivery options" with delivery drivers.
