Police say Guilford phone numbers are being targeted by a scam artist.

GUILFORD, CT - Guilford Police are warning residents about a new Social Security s am.
On their Facebook page, Guilford Police day:
Let’s get this out of the way.... after roughly 30 calls today we realized that this scammer is targeting Guilford Numbers on their robo-dial machine....

1. Your Social Security Number was not suspended.
2. No one at the Social Security Administration would call you to tell you that.

3. Do not answer.
4. Do not call them back.
5. Do not provide them any information.
6. THIS IS A SCAM.
7. We mean it.... the Social Security Administration is NOT CALLING YOU.
8. These scammers make a lot of money off scaring people.... please don’t fall for the call.
