Guilford Police Warning Residents About Social Security Scam
"If you have been scammed please feel free to pick up one of our Identity Theft packets from dispatch."

GUILFORD, CT - Guilford police are warning about a residents a new Social Security scam.
They are saying this on their Facebook page:
"We have received numerous calls about a Social Security Scam targeting Guilford residents over the last few days. Thankfully no one has reported falling for it in Guilford but we wanted to make you aware. It is a scam. Your number was not compromised.... but it will be if you give them your info. Never give out personal information to any stranger who calls you.... like never ever.
