Guilford Police Will Participate in “Click It or Ticket” Campaign
A statewide campaign is being held to encourage people to buckle up; Guilford will be participating in the enforcement campaign.

GUILFORD, CT - The Guilford Police Department, in their efforts to promote safe driving, will participate in the statewide “Click It Or Ticket” campaign from May 21st through June 3rd. Officers may use a variety of enforcement techniques from organized check points to roaming patrol, as well as the deployment of Guilford’s low profile traffic unit.
It is the hope of the Guilford Police Department that this enhanced enforcement will stand as an opportunity to educate the public and remind our citizens of the dangers of operating or being a passenger in a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt.
The police department would like to further remind the public that several officers are certified Child Safety Seat Technicians and are available for installations on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the department from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
