Guilford Restaurant Closes, The Rothberg Institute Could Move In
Officials have not received official confirmation of the purchase of the building, but rumors are still getting around.

Stone House Restaurant announced July 7 on Facebook it would be closing at the end of this month, but what will replace it could be less of a mystery, according to the New Haven Register.
No comments from the restaurant owners have been made about who will purchase the building, but rumor has it The Rothberg Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for children suffering tuberous sclerosis complex, which is currently located at 530 Whitfield St., is on track to purchase the property, the Register reports.
Guilford Officials told the Register they have not heard anything about this purchase, and no paperwork has been received as of yet.
