Guilford School Board Moves to Replace Christine Cohen on Panel

The Board of Education has interviews and possible action slated in coming days to fill a vacancy created on the board.

GUILFORD, CT - When Christine Cohen won election to the state Senate in the 12th District to replace Ted Kennedy it created a vacancy locally - as she is a member of the Guilford Board of Education.

The school board needs to fill that position and has scheduled meetings for Jan. 7th and Jan. 10th to interview potential candidates and possibly vote on filling the vacancy on the board.

Cohen is a Democrat so the position would be filled by a Democrat in the town of Guilford.
