Guilford's FoodWorks Expanding Into Cheshire
The Guilford-based natural food market will open its fifth-location in Cheshire this year.
FoodWorks, which opened its first location in Guilford 22 years ago, will open its fifth location in Cheshire by the end of this summer.
The Cheshire store was originally expected to open earlier, but it was pushed back as construction took longer than expected, according to the New Haven Register. The store will be located within the Cheshire Shopping Center, according to the newspaper.
FoodWorks owner Ralph Johnson told the New Haven Register that he has been looking to build a store in Cheshire for 15 years. Along with Guilford and soon Cheshire, FoodWorks also has locations in Old Saybrook, Monroe and Smithfield, RI.
