Guilford’s Lake Quonnipaug Opening Saturday, May 25

The park, which will just be open on weekends until June 24, features areas for swimming, kayaking and fishing.

Guilford’s Lake Quonnipaug is opening for the season on Saturday, May 25, according to the Guilford Recreation and Parks Department.

The 41-acre park features areas for swimming and fishing along with kayak and paddleboat rentals. There is a daily fee of $7 per resident, $10 per non-resident to enter the park, with children under 5 getting in for free.

The park will just be open on weekends starting this Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Starting June 24 until Labor Day, the park will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The park is located on Rt. 77 north of Rt. 80 in Guilford.
