Hurricane Sandy Alert: Guilford Public Schools Closed Monday and Tuesday

School Superintendent Paul Freeman told Guilford Patch that Guilford Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, October 29th, and Tuesday, October 30th.

"The schools are officially closed Monday and Tuesday," said Freeman. "We will reassess the situation for Wednesday."

"We ask that parents follow the school and town website for updates. We also ask that if needed, they update contact information with the schools."

"We want to keep students safe and make families able to mobilize if they are in evacuation areas, and allow them to make preparations. We also want the roads to be cleared for public safety issues."
