Lake Bishop?

Nearby Madison took top honors when it came to rainfall overnight Friday into early Saturday morning, according to information gathered by the National Weather Service.

According to information submitted to the NWS from a member of the public, Madison logged 6.2 inches of rain overnight, more than we usually get in a month.

According to those same statistics, Guilford received almost 3 inches by 11 p.m., but anyone who was around overnight knows it keep raining even after that.

Bishops Orchards reported on Facebook that the area around the store and orchards received well over 5 inches, leaving the area flooded through Saturday.

"5+ inches of rain yesterday and last night flooded over our flower & vegetable field off Long Hill Rd," they wrote on their Facebook page. "Just planted flowers for our cut flower sales & CSA are completely under water."

But, if you love squash, there is some good news, "The squash stayed just above high water," Bishops says.

There's no word yet on when "pick your own" will start at Bishops, but when it does, it will be posted on the Bishops website on this page.
