UPDATE: Lost Dog in Guilford Dropped Off at Shelter is Back Home
Shelter says on Facebook page that "some nice young men" dropped the dog off at Animal Shelter on Monday afternoon; owners have been found.

GUILFORD, CT - The Guilford Police Animal Shelter said on their Facebook page Tuesday that a dog that was dropped off at the shelter Monday afternoon is back home with the owners.
The shelter said the dog was found in North Madison Rd by Nut Plains Rd “by some nice young men who were kind enough to give a sweet gal like me a ride to the shelter. I’m glad they did, I didn’t want to be out there when the snow starts! As nice as it is here - I love the heated floors! - I’d like to get home.”
Thankfully, she did.
