Obituary: Barbara Hall Nolan, 77, longtime Guilford resident
She worked in the Business Sales Group at AT&T, enjoyed studying Spanish and casino trips, and was a General Hospital, Hallmark movies fan.
On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Barbara Hall Nolan, 77, longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully at Saint Raphael Hospital in New Haven. She was surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was the beloved wife of Frank Nolan for 57 years. She was born in New Haven on May 6, 1946, daughter of the late Henry Hall and Marian (Johnson) Hall.
Barbara was the loving mother of Jennifer Champagne (Eric) and Alison Avallone (Brian).

She is predeceased by her sister, Maurine Keeler and niece Michelle Bert.
She is survived by grandsons Wyatt Champagne, Tucker Champagne, Nolan Avallone and Aidan Avallone.
Barbara is also survived by niece Deborah Flanagan (Thomas), nephews Christopher Nolan (Sally) and Sean Nolan.

She was a 1964 graduate of North Haven High School. She attended Quinnipiac College and graduated from the University of New Haven with a degree in Business Finance.
Before retirement, she worked in the Business Sales Group at AT&T.
Barbara loved spending time with family and friends, who also treasured their time with her. She enjoyed the many years that her daughters played soccer and the family trips to tournaments. Other pastimes included studying Spanish, trips to the casino, and she was a big fan of General Hospital and Hallmark movies. Her favorite family vacation spot was Misquamicut Beach. Most of all, spoiling her grandsons was her passion.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 at First Congregational Church, 122 Broad Street on the Guilford Green. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society
