An Army veteran, he found solace outdoors as a fly-fisherman, hunter, bird dog trainer and conservationist, and he was a gifted storyteller.

Keith Allen Campbell, born to George and Mary Campbell in Bridgeport, Connecticut on November 14, 1948, passed away peacefully at CT Hospice on January 16, 2024. A beloved husband, father,
grandfather, brother, veteran, and storyteller, Keith's life was a testament to love, laughter, and a deep connection to nature.
For a remarkable 46 years, Keith shared his life with his devoted wife, Diana Tang Campbell. Together, they created a home in Guilford, Connecticut, filled with love and warmth. Keith's love extended to his two daughters, Carly McGrady (Michael) of Guilford, and Caitlin Lavender (Zachary) of Madison, and his grandchildren Campbell McGrady, Colby McGrady, Matilda Lavender, and Finnegan Lavender.

Keith's journey included graduating from Bridgeport Harding High School and service in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where his bravery and dedication shone brightly. His commitment to duty and sacrifice for his country left an indelible mark on those who knew him.
Keith found solace and joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid fly-fisherman, hunter, bird dog trainer, a conservationist, and a reader of all things nature and Scotch heritage. He accomplished his lifelong dream of fly-fishing in Labrador and hunting in Newfoundland. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching, woodworking, the Yankees, and especially training his many Labrador Retrievers. He reveled in the beauty of nature, sharing these passions with his daughters, whose company he enjoyed immensely. His joy extended to watching his grandchildren play sports, finding pride and delight in their accomplishments.

Keith's unique gift of storytelling and his incredible sense of humor endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a remarkable ability to bring joy to others, making people smile with his anecdotes and lighthearted spirit. His kind, bluest, smiling eyes were his hallmark.
He is survived by his sisters: Sandra Street, Kathryn Zawadski, Carole Dankulich, and Jennette Toth (Russell); in-laws: William Tang, Mary Whittemore, Eileen Taylor, Ed Tang, and many nieces and nephews. His close-knit bond to his sisters and shared memories are a testament to the strength of family ties.
In celebrating the life of Keith Allen Campbell, let us remember the love he shared, the laughter he
brought, and the wisdom he imparted through his stories. May his spirit find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find comfort in the enduring legacy of a life happily, well-lived.
