Obituary: Lorraine Jacqueline Elmo Taylor, 95, of Guilford
Adored by family, she was creative, enjoyed cooking, painting, and travel and with husband Bob, took 50 cruises and trips around the world.
Lorraine Jacqueline Elmo Taylor, 95, a resident of The Guilford House, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Sunday, March 17th. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Taylor and daughter, Suzanne (Robert Cofer).
Lorraine was a faithful mother and wife whose husband and family adored her. Lorraine lit up every room she walked into with her sense of style, her laugh and her sharp wit. She was loving, affectionate and kind with a great sense of humor. Lorraine was playful and silly. Her love of making her family laugh was matched only by their love of making her laugh in return. Despite being notorious for never being able to pose properly for a picture, Lorraine was a beautiful and radiant person. She was creative and enjoyed cooking, painting, and traveling. With her husband Bob, she went on over 50 cruises and took trips all around the world. But her favorite times were spent with her family. They were the bedrock of her life.
