Thursday, December 21, 2023 Mary A. (Ronca) Piacentini, 86, longtime resident of Middletown and most recently of Guilford passed away at CT Hospice, Branford. Wife of the late Ennio Piacentini. Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 9, 1937, daughter of the late William and Mary (Kealy) Ronca. Loving mother to Jane Copeland of Ashford CT and husband James, Missy Roybal of Corona, CA, and husband Sam, and Richard Piacentini of Clinton CT and wife Laura.

She is also survived by grandchildren Sarah Trusiak and husband Zack Duda, Tony Trusiak, Benjamin Trusiak and wife Julia, Samantha Brick and wife Lisa, Luca, Richard, and Joseph Piacentini, Nicholas Roybal and wife Evelyn, and Jillian Roybal. Along with great grandchildren, Lydia, Sean, Hannah, and Juliet and nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Sister of William and Edward Ronca, Margaret Dolan , Kathy Hernandez. Predeceased by brother Fred Ronca

Mary is a graduate of St Simon and Jude High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and was a devout Catholic.

Friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, January 5 from 9:30 – 11 am at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford on Friday at 11:30 am. Burial will be held privately.
