Obituary: MaryAnn Masciantonio, 74, of Guilford
An Air Force veteran, she was a CNA at the VA in West Haven for many years and, after retiring, helped care for her mother and other family.
MaryAnn Masciantonio of Guilford, CT passed away peacefully on December 14,2023. She was born in New Haven on February 21, 1949 to the late William and Regina Piccirilli Masciantonio. She is a graduate of Hamden High School class of 1967. She joined the Air Force in 1975, and later attended South Central Community College where she earned an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant at the West Haven V.A. for many years. After an early retirement she helped care for her elderly mother, and her many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Joseph and brother-in-law Joseph Paolella. She is survived by her sister’s Lorraine Paolella, Regina Masciantonio, Louise (Robert) Panicali and her two brothers Frederick (Christine) Masciantonio and William (Sheri) Masciantonio Jr. as well as many adoring nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be remembered and greatly missed by all.
Friends are invited to calling hours on Friday December 22, from 9:30a.m-10:30a.m. at Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Rd. North Branford. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Georges Church, Guilford at 11:00 o’clock. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
