Gun Control Rally Organizer: "Nice Day But We're Just Starting"

The man who organized the rally against guns on Guilford Green shares his thoughts on the event that was attended by thousands on Green.

GUILFORD, CT - The Guilford man who organized the rally on Saturday to push for stricter gun control laws that was attended by more than 2,000 people is saying that he was "embarrassed" by the attention but happy with the results.

Frank Blackwell had been working on the March for Our Lives events for weeks. Similar events were held in cities around the country on Saturday that were attended by millions. All the events were organized in the wake of the school shooting last month in Parkland, Florida where a teenage gunman killed 17 students and staff after legally purchasing a semi-automatic gun.

Here is what Blackwell had to say Sunday morning about Saturday's event:

"The students were equally amazing - young and old. And the "adults" were actually very adult. The politicians were excellent.
