Prom? Graduation? Summer Concerts? It's Time To Talk With Your Kids ...

Now is a great time to talk with your kids about making responsible choices, and the dangers of underage drinking and youth substance abuse. Here are some tools.

This information is from Catherine Barden from MADE:

The concert series season has always been a sign of summer. With summer comes many changes and transitions.

Middle School students become High School students, High School students become college students, and college students transition back from their campus lifestyle.

With the warm weather and prom and graduation just around the corner it’s a great time to talk to your kids about responsible choices and the dangers of underage drinking and youth substance use.

It’s never too early to start the conversation. Studies show that by eighth grade, kids see 100,000 ads for alcohol.

Just like your kids, the conversation will mature over time.

This conversation is important because 80% of young people say their parents are the leading influence on their decision to drink or not.
