Shoreline Jewish Festival Returns To Guilford This Summer

The festival will offer a celebration of Jewish culture through music, food, art, and family-friendly activities.

GUILFORD, CT — The 19th annual Shoreline Jewish Festival will be held Sunday, Aug. 10, from noon to 5 p.m. on the Guilford Green, offering a celebration of Jewish culture through music, food, art, and family-friendly activities.

The festival, which highlights Jewish life along the Shoreline, will feature live performances by several musical acts, including Klezmerfest!, the Rostover String Quartet, the Jon Madof Trio, and Later Prophets.

In addition to music, the festival will host vendors offering Judaica, jewelry, clothing, and artwork. Books of Jewish interest will be available for both children and adults. Food offerings—all kosher—include brisket, falafel, schwarma, knishes, hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, mini donuts, cotton candy, sno-cones and more.

Children’s activities include inflatable rides and Jewish-themed arts and crafts.

The event is free and open to the public, though registration is encouraged. Food and vendor items will be available for purchase. Artists can reserve booths for a fee of $85.
