The Dudley Farm held their annual Harvest Day this Saturday, October 20th, and as promised, a visit there felt like a return to simple farming life from a century ago. From the Farmers Market with locally grown food to countless handmade crafts to picturesque surroundings, the event was the perfect fall attraction.
But don’t worry if you missed the festival, there's more to come from Dudley Farm and their many vendors! I was happy to learn that several of the vendors in attendance live and sell their products right here on the Shoreline, or make them available online. Be sure to check out all of this amazing local talent available all year round:

Many of the food products were from local farms, and their goods are available at The Dudley Farm’s Farmers Market. The farm will hold their very last Farmers Market of the year, this Saturday, the 27th, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
If you want to learn more about The Dudley Farm, visit their website. The Farm’s Board of Directors will also be holding their annual meeting this Thursday, October 25th at 6:30. The meeting will start off with a “green” carry in supper, where you bring a dish and your own utensils, followed by a brief business meeting and elections. Wildlife biologist and local resident Scott Williams will also speak at the gathering.
The farms next big event will be December 1st, when they hold their Christmas Open House and Christmas Market from 9 AM to 2 PM. The venue will be fully decorated in holiday spirit and mulled cider with cookies will be available to visitors.
