The Week Ahead: Jacob's Beach Grand Re-Opening! Tax-Free Shopping Week, Local Authors Showcase, Teen End-Of-Summer Party And More

After a bit of clouds and rain at the beginning of the week, it looks like the weather will clear up just in time for the town's Grand Re-Opening of Jacob's Beach on Friday!

While the beach has been open and in use for most of the summer, the event on Friday is designed to celebrate the hard work that has gone in to improving this community recreational facility. 

There will be a free moon bounce, an obstacle course and more fun and games. There will be music by Take Two And Call Me In The Morning, and food available for purchase, including pizza and hot dogs. Find out more in this event listing. The fun starts at 3 p.m. on Friday.
