The Week Ahead: Sign Up For Fun, Anna Karenina, July 4th, Walking Tours And More


Guilford Parks and Recreation is still accepting registration for the following programs that begin this week: 

  • Preschool Camp (ages 3-5/kindergarten)
  • Camp Menunkatuck (grades 1-6)
  • Guitar Lessons (ages 7-14), Tennis Camp (ages 7-16)
  • Baseball Camp (ages 9-13)
  •  Basketball Camp (Ages 7-12)
  • Strength & Conditioning (Grade 6-12)

On Monday night, see Anna Karenina at the Guilford Library. Free and open to all!

If you want to see some fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July, you can head to nearby Madison. They will be celebrating on Thursday. The fireworks will start at about 9:30 p.m. off a barge off of West Wharf Beach. For more information, check out the Madison Fireworks web page. On Friday, July 5th, drop in at the library and check out drop-in gaming! There will be some consoles and games available, but you are also welcome to bring and share your own. 

And this coming weekend, save time on Sunday for a walking tour of Guilford  and get to know your town better!
