Today is America Recycles Day: Count Guilford In!

Today is America Recycles Day, and the Green Team is lobbying for the cause here in Guilford. After a huge success of bringing recycling to the Guilford Public Schools several years ago, the Green Team is reaffirming their commitment to the cause.

"Today, our Superintendent is sending information out to our families about our commitment to recycling," said Sue Ireland, one of the founders of the Green Team in Guilford. "We have posters that can be downloaded for families so they know exactly what can/cannot be recycled."

"We need more accountability from trash companies in order to get this done too," added Ireland. "We are working very hard to get families recycling everything they can."
