First Grade Guilford students Share what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving through creative projects
What are you thankful for?
First Graders at A.W. Cox Elementary School in Guilford shared what they are thankful for this year for Thanksgiving. Several of the classes created art projects to show what they are giving thanks for this year.
Nancy Stander's class created paper plate 'wreaths', while Maria Clark's class made an oversized turkey with decorative feathers to share what they are thankful for. Here's a few examples of what they said when they were asked to finish this sentence:
