What You'll See at the Polling Stations in Guilford Nov. 6th

A peek at what the ballots will look like in Guilford Nov. 6th

When head to the polls Nov. 6th at your respective District locations this is a peek at what the ballots will look like. Guilford Patch spoke to the Registrar's office at Town Hall, and they wanted to inform Guilford voters of a few things:

  • On the ballot, select candidates will appear multiple times

This is because the candidate is endorsed by two parties.

You can vote for the candidate by selecting their name under your own party affiliation (Republican or Democrat), or by selecting their name if it appears elsewhere (Working Families, Independent, or Libertarian).

If you select the SAME candidate's name in two different parties, it will NOT cancel out your vote, but it will only count as one vote.

Your vote will be CANCELLED if you select two different candidates names on your ballot.
