18 Quinnipiac University Students Initiated into Honor Organization

STudents were inducted into Beta Alpha Psi the international honor organization for financial information students and professionals.

From Quinnipiac University: Eighteen Quinnipiac University students were recently initiated into Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor organization for financial information students and professionals.

The new initiates are: Sarah Campbell of Warwick, Rhode Island; Francesca Capasso of Huntington Station, New York; Michael Ciullo of Hopewell Junction, New York; Elizabeth Coppola of Warwick, New York; Jaclyn D’Ambrosio of Ridgefield; Robert Deagan of Mahopac, New York; Stephanie Dunham of Mount Sinai, New York; Sean Durkin of Tenafly, New Jersey; Daniel Giordano of Mount Sinai, New York; Ashley Korn of North Bellmore, New York; Samantha Lomino of Hopewell Junction, New York; Jazmine Meggett of Dumont, New Jersey; Megan Moyse of Floral Park, New York; Frances Nemeth of North Haven; Alexandra Osgood of Rocky Hill; Kelly Roache of Amityville, New York; Nicole Savas of Ringoes, New Jersey; and Taylor Triolo of Islip Terrace, New York.

Students initiated into the Quinnipiac chapter of Beta Alpha Psi must major in accounting; have completed at least 45 semester hours of credits; and have earned a 3.3 overall GPA and a 3.3 average in their upper-level accounting courses. They are also required to complete a minimum number of hours of professional and service activities. Beta Alpha Psi provides students with opportunities to network with business and financial professionals and to attend regional and national conferences.

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor organization that aims to develop members into ethical, professional and confident leaders. Beta Alpha Psi has over 300 college and university chapters and has initiated more than 300,000 members.

Kenneth Ryack, assistant professor of accounting, is the chapter’s lead adviser.
