Whitneyville Civic Association Meets Jan. 12

The Whitneyville Civic Association announces the regular meeting of the association on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. in the basement of the Whitneyville UCC Church, 1253 Whitney Ave. (corner of Whitney and Putnam). 

All WCA meetings are open to the public.

Agenda items include reports by various WCA committees, and our guest speaker will be Bob Freeman of the Hamden Emergency Preparedness Team.

The Whitneyville Civic Association (WCA) provides residents and business owners in the Whitneyville community with a voice in civic matters concerning our neighborhood. We organize to maintain and promote the unique social, ecological and historic character of Whitneyville.

Members and friends of the WCA meet six times each year to share ideas and hear about issues affecting our neighborhood.
