Here's what's going on in Hamden today.

-- Hamden resident Cham Hendon will present and a brief demonstration of his poured acrylic technique at the Hamden Art League's monthly meeting tonight at 7:15 p.m. at the Miller Memorial Central Library, 2901 Dixwell Ave. 

-- The Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Central Offices, 60 Putnam Ave. The board is scheduled to both hold a public hearing and vote on its 2011-12 budget. Call 203-407-2000 for more information.

-- "," an exhibit that tells the story of the New Haven Holocaust Memorial, is on display from Jan. 24-Feb. 25  at the Arnold Bernhard Library at Quinnipiac University. The exhibit is free and is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
