Best-Selling Novel Discussion Set For Hamden Public Library

The hybrid discussion, where participants can attend in person or via Zoom, will be held Oct. 30.

HAMDEN, CT — This October, join Hamden Public Library’s Book Discussion Group as we read and discuss Nita Prose’s New York Times’ Bestselling novel The Maid. This is a hybrid discussion, meaning participants may attend in-person in Miller Library’s Friends Room, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, or via Zoom, on Monday, October 30th at 6:30 pm.

A finalist for the 2022 Edgar Award, The Maid is the story of Molly Gray, an introverted and hard-working hotel maid who has been in the midst of discovering her place in the world after her beloved grandmother’s passing.

Molly’s daily work of cleaning guest rooms at the Regency Grand Hotel is perfectly normal and uneventful; until one shocking circumstance labels her as the prime suspect in the murder of a wealthy guest.
