Big Lottery Prize Sold At Stop & Shop In Hamden

The big win came on a Powerball ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

HAMDEN, CT — A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was recently sold in Hamden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Hamden resident bought the winning ticket at Stop & Shop at 2335 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden, according to lottery officials.

A Hamden resident also recently won $50,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold at Thapa Convenience at 704 Watertown Avenue in Waterbury.
