Dominic DiMaggio, 53

Dominic DiMaggio, 53, of 254 Dorrance St., Hamden, died Dec. 9, 2012 at the Masonic Care Center.

Dom was born in New Haven, Dec. 28, 1958, the son of Pasqua LoRusso DiMaggio of Hamden and the late Gino DiMaggio, and resided in Hamden for the last 35 years. He was employed at the Dattco Bus Co. prior to his illness.

Besides his mother, he is survived by daughters, Krystle DiMaggio and Barbara DiMaggio, both of East Haven, a sister, Mrs. Daniel (Tina) O'Connor of Hamden and nephews, Daniel (Stacey), David (Lindsay) and Gerald O'Connor. He is also survived by his former wife Linda DiMaggio.

His funeral will leave Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Anthony's Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. Friends may call Thursday morning from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m.
