Eli’s On Whitney Temporarily Closes In Hamden
The popular restaurant is temporarily closed, the owners announced.
HAMDEN, CT — Eli’s on Whitney is temporarily closed for renovations, the owners announced over the weekend.
The popular restaurant, located at 2392 Whitney Ave. in Hamden, was closed starting Sunday, March 9.
The owners encouraged customers to visit the Eli’s Branford location at 624 West Main St. in Branford while the Hamden restaurant is closed.

Eli’s on Whitney is planning on reopening on March 14, but “the date may shift depending on progress,” according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
