Hamden Announces Partnership With Albertus Magnus College
Plans include the development of internship programs in areas such as human services, public works, engineering, social services, and more.

From The Town of Hamden: Mayor Curt Balzano Leng is delighted to announce that the Town of Hamden and Albertus Magnus College (AMC) will take another significant step in the continued development of the symbiotic, positive relationship between the two entities.
The Town, with substantial assistance from Economic Development Director, Dale Kroop, and Albertus Magnus College, has agreed to engage in a new “Student Education Affiliation Agreement”, which is essentially an expansion and overhaul of internship and fieldwork opportunities within various Town Departments, available exclusively for the students of Albertus Magnus College. Plans include the development of internship programs in areas such as human services, public works, engineering, social services, and more. The agreement extends for three years and may be renewed for successive one year terms by mutual consent of the parties.
Commenting on the agreement, Mayor Curt Leng said, “Albertus Magnus College and the Town of Hamden are further strengthening our already strong community relationship. Offering a robust catalog of educational and career building internship opportunities will be very beneficial to the Town and Albertus Magnus College.”
