HAMDEN, CT — The 2025 municipal election is heating up in Hamden with plenty of races on the ballot.

Voters will cast their ballots in the Nov. 4 election for mayor and town clerk, along with seats on the legislative council and board of education.

I am the proud father of one son and two daughters, and papa of two grandsons.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
No

Why are you seeking this office?
I desire for the people, the Heart and Soul of the Town of Hamden, to benefit from my knowledge and experiences. I pledge to work for and with the people.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
People are concerned with high taxes, the school system, and the belief that town government does not care about them.

I will bring integrity, transparency, and accountability to the position. I will be a voice of reason.

My priority will be to focus on our school communities: children and families, and school staff. I plan on visiting schools, listening to their concerns, and being visible.

My vision is to foster a partnership with Quinnipiac University, Southern Connecticut State University, and the University of New Haven for our youth. I am a firm believer in the phrase: It takes a village to raise a child.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am a fresh voice to town government.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Meeting people and listening to their concerns has been a priority for me. I want to foster a sense of community.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Excellent job performance reviews.
Recognized as being a vital staff member.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
To be honest in everything, and be an instrument of peace!

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I AM a man of God and family man. My entire life is lived with God and my family in mind. Some words that have been used to describe me in both my personal and professional life include: kind, caring, honest, trustworthy and approachable.
