Hamden Fireworks 2024: Date, Details Announced
Officials are advising residents to mark their calendars for the town's fireworks display.
HAMDEN, CT — Hamden’s fireworks display will take place Friday, June 28, officials announced Tuesday.
The fireworks display returned last year after a four-year hiatus.
“Mark your calendars for Friday, June 28 and come join us for an evening of fun, music, and spectacular fireworks,” officials wrote in a post on the town’s Facebook page. “We had a great time last year and plan to have a great time again.”

The festivities will start at 6 p.m., with music by the Hamden Symphony Orchestra and DJ Buddha LuvJonz, according to officials.
The fireworks display will take place at 9:20 p.m.

“Bring your blankets and chairs, gather your family and friends, and get ready for a great time,” officials wrote in the post. “Enjoy the beautiful music, delicious food from local vendors, and the grand finale of stunning fireworks lighting up the night sky.
“Free Parking and Free Entry as always!”
The rain date is June 29.
