Hamden Library To Present 'Around The World In 80 Beers'

HAMDEN, CT— Beer is one of the most popular beverages on earth! Travel the globe and see how the world drinks and enjoys beers in unique and fascinating ways. Join beer expert Em Sauter for a whirlwind illustrated presentation about the world of beer from history to styles on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, 6:30 p.m., Best Video Film & Cultural Center, 1842 Whitney Ave. in Hamden, CT.

Em Sauter is an award-winning cartoonist, CT author, public speaker, and beer educator. She is an Advanced Cicerone, which is a professional beer taster (like a sommelier, but for beer) and the author of "Beer is for Everyone (of Drinking Age)!" and "Hooray for Craft Beer!: An Illustrated Guide to Beer." This event, organized by the Hamden Public Library, is a collaboration with Hamden’s Best Video Film & Cultural Center. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Hamden Library. Beer samples will be provided by Fox Farm Brewery of Salem, CT.
