Beloved Goat Returned To Farm In Hamden
"Millie" went missing from the farm and was initially thought to have been stolen.
HAMDEN, CT — A beloved goat has been returned to Hindinger Farm in Hamden after going missing on Sunday night.
“Millie” went missing from the farm, located at 835 Dunbar Hill Rd. in Hamden, and the owners initially thought she was stolen, according to a post on Facebook.
Millie was picked up by the Hamden Animal Control, which clarified in the comments on Facebook that she wasn’t stolen.

“She was not stolen, the man in the photo found her this morning and called to have her picked up,” the animal control wrote.
Hindinger Farm wrote in an updateon Monday morning, “Thank God she is back!! Thanks to Animal Control and thanks especially to the person on Alstrum Street who put a collar on her, tied her up and called Hamden PD. We are forever grateful and all the kids that visit her are too!”
