Andrew Amendola, 98, of Hamden, entered into rest April 14, 2013.
He was the husband of the late Carmela (Mae) Marino Amendola. He is survived by several nieces & nephews and was predeceased by siblings Rose, Margaret, Peter & Alfonse.
Mr. Amendola was born April 20, 1914, the son of the late Salvatore & Raphaela Amendola. Andrew served in the Army and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
His funeral will leave from Maresca and Sons Funeral Home, 592 Chapel St., Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call prior to Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 am.
