Recent arrests by the Hamden Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
HAMDEN, CT — The following information has been provided by the Hamden Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Gary Beckford, 67, of New Haven, was arrested April 20 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 27. He was also arrested on April 24 and charged with fifth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of June 27, according to state judicial records.
Matthew J. Lanza, 20, of Meriden, was arrested April 21 on charges of third-degree larceny and third-degree burglary. He was being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond with a court date of June 4.

Tracy L. Serrano, 52, of Hamden, was arrested April 22 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on June 6.
Tiffany Morales, 31, of Stratford, was arrested April 23 on charges of second-degree larceny, first-degree forgery, and issuing a bad check over $2,000. She was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of July 7.

Clarence E. Freeman, 44, of Hamden, was arrested April 24 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $100 bond with a court date of June 4.
Jamie Antonelli, 46, of West Haven, was arrested April 24 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 18.
William F. Berrios, 23, of Hamden, was arrested April 24 on a charge of third-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of June 20.
Francisco Ayala, 24, of Ansonia, was arrested April 25 on charges of third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary. He was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond with a court date of July 11.
Kyle S. Hill, 33, of Hamden, was arrested April 25 on two counts of failure to register – sexual violence. He was being held in lieu of a $3,000 bond with a court date of July 8.
Christopher Ringenback, 34, of Hamden, was arrested April 25 on charges of third-degree strangulation / suffocation, disorderly conduct, and violation of standing criminal protective order. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 26.
Shamont Newton, 29, of New Haven, was arrested April 26 on charges of conspiracy to commit / murder, first-degree reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of firearm, first-degree assault, and criminal possession of firearm / ammunition / defense weapon. He was being held in lieu of a $1 million bond with a court date of June 24. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to judicial records.
Rodney High, 60, of New Haven, was arrested April 27 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $100 bond with a court date of June 18.
Elijah E. Strong, 18, of Manchester, was arrested April 27 on charges of second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on July 3.
Malaysia S. Streater, 22, of Hamden, was arrested April 27 on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and risk of injury to child. She was released on a promise to appear in court on July 3.
